An overall analysis of the functions and characteristics of industrial electrostatic precipitators

One part of the industrial electrostatic precipitator is the body system of the electrostatic precipitator; the other part is the power supply device and the low-voltage automatic control system which provide high-voltage direct current. It uses the high-voltage electric field to ionize the flue gas, and the dust in the airflow is charged by the electric field and separated from the airflow.


Compared with the traditional dust collector, the industrial electrostatic precipitator consumes less energy and has high dust removal efficiency. It is not only suitable for removing 0.01-50 micron dust, but also suitable for high flue gas temperature and pressure occasions. It is the most advanced dust collector at home and abroad.


Wet electrostatic precipitator is also a kind of industrial electrostatic precipitator. It sprays water mist directly into the electrode and corona area. Water mist splits further after being charged in the strong corona field formed by the prickly electrode. Here, the electric field force and charged water mist collide and intercept, absorb and coagulate, and collectively collect dust particles. Finally, the dust particles reach the dust collecting pole driven by the electric field force.


The object of wet electrostatic precipitation is dust and droplets. It can overcome the bottleneck of the traditional dry electrostatic precipitation technology, such as anti-corona and secondary fugitive dust. It has a very high efficiency of dust removal, and also has a joint removal of multiple pollutants, the effect is remarkable.
